The Alkalising Diet: Example

A diet that contains alkaline forming foods is highly important in maintaining acid-alkai balance. Here is an example of one that you could try. 

Breakfast   

  • Vegan zucchini slice (tofu, mushroom, spinach, tomato, zucchini, sweet potato and flaxseeds) with salad +
  • Smoothie (Kiwi fruit, mango, celery, kale, parsley and beet greens) 

Snack   

  • Alfalfa sprouts, tomato, guacamole and cucumber bites  

Lunch   

  • Tofu coconut curry with cauliflower rice and garden salad 

Snack   

  • Spicy kale chips  

Dinner   

  • Tofu and spinach mousse on a chickpea tart with salad
