What is Sarcopenia?

Sarcopenia is a muscle wasting condition that impacts anyone subjected to bed rest or inactivity resulting from age, injury, surgery, extended illness from winter colds and flus, obesity or chronic conditions; postmenopausal women and men experiencing reducing testosterone levels are also at risk.

Loss of muscle strength and muscle mass is expected as part of the natural ageing process. Sarcopenia is the name given to the progressive, accelerated loss of muscle, accompanied by low physical activity. It is now a diagnosable condition that is not well treated by any conventional medicine solution.

Join international experts, Dr Naji N. Abumrad, MD and Dr Lisa Pitchford PhD for two exciting free webinar sessions.

Hear why Henry Osiecki believes Sarcopenia is a crucial consideration when treating metabolic conditions.
