Chronic Pain: 3 Part Webinar Series

Uncover Clinical Gems

Learn from the rich experience of a Naturopathic Pain Specialist

Get to know the presenter

As a naturopath for 20 years, Ananda has completed a Masters in the Science of Pain Management at Sydney University after becoming frustrated at seeing patients receive inconsistent treatment, including the use of isolated pain management strategies.

Clinically, she uses the biopsychosocial framework, and while best practice, it is still not widely used as a treatment model, a model that aligns well with complementary medicine.

From this experienced pain clinician, not only will you gain a deeper understanding of mechanisms behind pain, you will learn the core principles of pain assessment, treatment and management using an integrated model of care. You will also learn how to apply specific patient reported outcome measures and patient tools to determine pain severity, gather baseline data and communicate with other healthcare professionals.
